DESCRIPTION:#ChangeYourSOCH Fundraiser is being organized to raise funds to expand SOCH Mental Health programming for 2020/2021.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this Event\n\n\nSOCH in Punjabi\, Hindi\, and Urdu means “to think” or “a thought”. SOCH Mental Health truly believes that they can change the South Asian community’s perceptions towards mental health and mental illness through our community impacted conversations. To date\, SOCH has facilitated over 50 workshops with a number of community partners as well as established a strong online presence to empower the community with mental health knowledge. \nWe are organizing a #ChangeYourSOCH Fundraiser to raise money to expand our programming for 2020/2021 to support our community’s rising mental health needs. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be going towards SOCH Mental Health. \nWe are excited to bring you together for a night of intimacy\, vulnerability\, and resiliency. \nHere are a few treats of the night: \n\nLive singing by artists Johannes Linstead\, Selena Dhillon\, & Noyz.\nDance performance by Tanvir Moves\nA Men’s Mental Health Conversation facilitated by Harjot Ghuman with guests: Train with Charan\, Noyz\, Shuranjeet Takher founder of Taraki\, Harvir Grewal founder of The Ambroisal Hours\, and Puneet Aujila manager of Brampton Crematorium and Visitation Centre.\nA live play directed by Anuradha Grover-Tejpal\n\nWe also have some incredible vendors coming out to showcase their community work and share some magic with you. \n\nAngie’s Golden Ghee\nArt As Therapy\nThe Ambroisal Hours\nShine and Glow\nBreath of Henna\n\nNot to mention…. \n\nLots of food\nAmazing raffle prizes\nEndless love\n\nWe hope you will join us with your family and friends!
