‘Akaal’ is a six-week Punjabi South Asian Grief Support program crafted by one of the founders of Soch. Inspired by personal loss, the program creator designed Akaal after experiencing the profound impact of her father’s passing. Rooted in the rich tapestry of South Asian spirituality, culture, and language, Akaal stands as a beacon of hope for those navigating the tumultuous waters of grief within the South Asian community.

During the six-week program, participants embark on a voyage of self-discovery, guided by compassionate facilitators versed in both grief support and South Asian traditions. Through group discussions, rituals, and reflective exercises, participants engage in a profound exploration of their grief experiences, drawing strength from shared cultural narratives and collective resilience.
